China to the Netherlands: parcel tracking and delivery delays
Content checked: 16 September 2026
Use the parcel tracking tool to open 17TRACK with your tracking number, or choose a carrier’s official website. Tracking results are provided by the external service.
Check the service and dispatch date
Delivery estimates depend on the service you bought. Compare express, postal, e-commerce and sea freight options using the carrier’s quotation. Check whether its estimate uses calendar days or working days and whether it starts when the seller creates a label or actually hands over the parcel.
Follow both legs of the journey
A parcel may pass through collection, export, international transport, import clearance and local delivery. The first carrier and the final-mile carrier may use different numbers. Ask the seller for both. PostNL may require the recipient postcode.
What to do when progress stops
Check the official carrier website or app for requests for documents or address corrections. Contact the seller or carrier if the promised delivery window has passed; there is no universal number of days you must wait. Preserve your order receipt and observe the shop’s dispute deadline.
Budget for import costs
For online imports from outside the EU, the old €150 duty exemption ended on 1 July 2026. Dutch Customs describes €3 per product category for consignments up to €150, with other tariff rules for higher values and special cases. VAT and carrier fees may also apply. Review what the seller already collected before paying. Check the current Dutch Customs guidance.
Keep your number private
This site sends the number to 17TRACK only when you submit the query and does not store it. Avoid posting tracking numbers publicly. Verify payment requests in the carrier’s official app or website.
